Welcome to NordINFOLIT!
NordINFOLIT was established 2001 in Helsinki initiated by NORDINFO – The Nordic Council for Scientific Information. This was a result of a lively discussion about information literacy issues in the 25th anniversary conference “Content is king – Information Strategies in the new millennium”. During a meeting specialists from six Nordic countries decided to create a common platform in order to support development, find common solutions and start to map ongoing projects in the Nordic region in the field of information literacy. NordINFOLIT is working mainly with three different tracks:- The Nordic Summer School on pedagogy for librarians
- Seminars on standards and guidelines for implementing information literacy programs in higher education
- The international conference Creating Knowledge
